I first saw Dr. K about having Cataract Surgery about a year ago. He explained the procedure and made me feel very comfortable about the surgery. The surgery took about 20 minutes and I was awake for the whole thing. He kept me posted on the procedure and when he was finished I could see his fingers immediately. I would recommend Dr. K to anyone wanting Cataract Surgery and general eye care.

My two visits at Dr. Khoubian's office was both positive ones. Making a appointment was very quick and easy, the way I like it. My first visit was at 3pm. The office was very busy and my wait was longer then expected. But not unusually long for a doctor's office. The doctor then diagnose me in a very methodical manner, ruling out anything more serious that could be causing a lump in my eye lid. He then ask me to come back to get it surgically removed and explained to me what are the risk and the procedure of the surgery are and asked if I want to do it. Then a appointment was made with ease getting a day I asked for.My second visit was at 11am. This time the office wasn't so busy and I only waited about 5-10 minutes to be called in. The procedure went through very smoothly, the doctor and nurse was very caring enough to ask if I had any concerns and answered my questions. And also the doctor did all the necessary steps to prevent my greatest concern, scarring. I would highly recommend Dr. Jacob Khoubian to anyone looking for a ophthalmologist. The doctor and his staff are very kind a courteous and responsive to a patient's need.

I have recommended Dr. Khoubian to all my friends who need to see a opthalmologist. Last year I had my cataracts removed and replaced with ReStor lenses. Dr. Khoubian was fast and did an excellent job with this procedure. I no need glasses or contacts for my vision or reading.
